    The Dishwasher plays a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by ensuring all equipment used to prepare meals and serve guests is properly cleaned and sanitized.

    In this position, you will embody a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service with a smile to customers and team members at all times. You must also embrace our family culture by following our core values: TRIFIC (Trust, Respect, Integrity, First-Class, Innovation, Commitment).

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Provide a safe work environment of trust and respect free of harassment.
    • Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas.
    • Loading and unloading dishwashing machines.
    • Wash items in 3 compartment sinks when the dishwasher is unavailable.
    • Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment appropriately following Food Safety and Sanitation Guidelines.
    • Set up workstations before meal prep begins.
    • Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses, utensils, and equipment especially during peak hours.
    • Maintain cleaning supplies stock such as detergents.
    • Check dishwashing machines' operation and report any technical/performance issues to management.
    • Remove garbage regularly.
    • Sanitize the kitchen area including the floor.
    • Go above and beyond for guests and other team members.
    • Enthusiastically supports decisions once they have been made by management.
    • Able to take direction and collaborate in a team environment.
    • Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
    • Maintain a clean organized work environment that is free of safety hazards which may include sweeping and mopping.
    • Accountable for compliance with all local, state, federal laws, and regulations including those relating to food safety.

    Education, Experience, Certifications:

    • High School diploma or GED
    • Food and Beverage experience is preferred but not required.
    • ServSafe Certification or equivalent preferred.

    Position Qualifications:

    • Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team-oriented environment.
    • Excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate effectively in English.
    • Strong self-motivation and organizational skills.
    • Positive interpersonal skills.
    • Able to prioritize and handle various tasks simultaneously.
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
    • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs and perform essential job functions such as standing, bending, reaching, gripping, climbing on a ladder, and walking long distances.
    • Standing for long periods of time and the ability to work in an environment with varying conditions including high heat, steam, and odors.

    This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week at $18/hour. A Canadian Criminal Records Check is required for this position.
