    Position Summary:

  • Functions as an integral member of the inter-professional team
  • Has extensive experience in psychological assessment, testing and treatment in an outpatient setting to children, adolescents and their families
  • Key Qualifications:

  • Registered Psychologist, Registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario
  • Experience working with children and adolescents with psychiatric problems, and their families
  • Experience in psychological testing of children and adolescents with psychiatric problems and in providing feedback to families
  • Experience in providing a range of treatment approaches, including cognitive behavioural therapy, to children, adolescents (and their families) with psychiatric disorders
  • Experience in providing consultation and supervision in cognitive behavioural therapy and other treatment modalities to staff on the inter-professional team
  • Thorough knowledge of child and adolescent development, family dynamics and systems
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills combined with the ability to work independently and as part of an inter-professional team
