East Indian Food Cook

Job Location: 420 Selkirk Avenue Winnipeg MB, R2W 2M5


We are looking for a talented and experienced Cook to join our team at Liza's Donair & Ice cream place.

The restaurant emphasizes on Middle Eastern and East Indian Food mainly and would like to hire someone with experience on these types of food making.

As a Cook, you will be responsible for creating innovative and delicious dishes that delight our customers and keep them coming back for more.


Responsibilities:

Plan and execute menus that reflect our restaurant's vision and concept

Prepare and cook food to the highest standards of quality and presentation

Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies are always on hand

Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain a high level of performance and productivity

Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met and maintained


Requirements:

Proven experience as a Cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment

Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating new dishes

Strong leadership and communication skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

**Experience in related field is a must

  • Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

Language:


  • English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Food Handler Certification (preferred)
  • Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)

Shift availability:

  • Night Shift (preferred)
