Roles & Responsibilities

The position is primarily responsible for all Marketing and Digital Media for Waterloo Biofilter systems, reporting directly to our Sales Leader.

This position plays a key role in accelerating and creating growth opportunities for our Sales team. This position is primarily in-office, located in Guelph, Ontario.


Specific responsibilities include:

Marketing_

• Research new market segments and geographies to pursue across North America.
• Generate lists of target customers in each geography.
• Work with the sales teams to pick what publications and vehicles to advertise in.
• Create content for print ads.
• Create marketing case studies using video and still photography for use as a sales tool for our sales leads.
• Redesign our brochures.

Digital Media_

• Create videos for our online installation "howto" section.
• Post new content to our website.

Requirements:

• Past sales marketing experience in a similar industry and/or past experience in the onsite wastewater industry.
• Ability to work with digital media sites.
• Ability to create and edit videos and photos for digital content use.
• Enjoys working with people and has excellent communication skills.
• Good presentation skills and the ability to write case studies.
• Strong working knowledge and experience in Microsoft based software (specifically Word and Excel) and video/photo editing software.
• Thrives in a growthoriented, positive culture that focuses on the customer.
• Postsecondary degree preferred.

• Primarily based out of the head office in Guelph.
