We are looking for a Service Coordinator to join our team in Brampton You will report directly to the Service Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive incoming service calls in a timely manner
- Provide brief quotes to customers over the phone when required
- Prepare service quotes and recommendations provided by technicians
- Schedule and dispatch workers, work crews, equipment, or service vehicles to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs, using current means of communication
- Arrange for necessary repairs in order to restore service and schedules for customer needs
- Relay work orders, messages, and information to or from work crews to relevant parties
- Monitor personnel and/or equipment locations and utilization in order to coordinate service of customer requirements
- Record and maintain files and records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, and other dispatch information
- Coordinate and schedule all preventative maintenance contracts
- Assist in managing all internal and external communication for service department
- Handle customer complaints and issues that may arise using excellent customer service and problemsolving skills
- Order materials and equipment when required
- Assist the Billing Department when required
- Bill quoted work accurately and effectively
- Maintain an open line of communication with the customer regarding work status
- Foster and maintain an effective working relationship with clients, customers, suppliers, and partners
- Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Support the Service Manager as needed
- Other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Able to multitask between various tasks and work under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Exceptional computer skills (speed and accuracy)
- Excellent problemsolving skills
- Ability to maintain and leverage relationships
- Postsecondary education preferred
- Technical knowledge of Plumbing & HVAC is required
- 3 years' experience coordinating field labour, quoting and client management preferred
Salary:
$18.98-$32.85 per hour
