Description
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including recording daytoday financial transactions, such as accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements and other financial documents to ensure accuracy by client in order to prepare their monthly statements.
- AP: Prepare and process invoices.
- AR: Pay invoices and suppliers.
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, including posting journal entries and adjusting entries as necessary.
- Generate financial reports for our accountant to review, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements for review by management or external parties.
- Payroll management.
- Tax compliance including regulatory reporting and any ad hoc tasks assigned.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role. Agency experience is a definite asset.
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

$30.00-$45.00 per hour
