Description

Responsibilities include:


  • Maintain accurate financial records, including recording daytoday financial transactions, such as accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements and other financial documents to ensure accuracy by client in order to prepare their monthly statements.
  • AP: Prepare and process invoices.
  • AR: Pay invoices and suppliers.
  • Manage and maintain the general ledger, including posting journal entries and adjusting entries as necessary.
  • Generate financial reports for our accountant to review, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements for review by management or external parties.
  • Payroll management.
  • Tax compliance including regulatory reporting and any ad hoc tasks assigned.

Requirements:


  • At least 5 years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role. Agency experience is a definite asset.
  • Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Part-time hours: per week


Salary:
$30.00-$45.00 per hour
