Position:
Production Lead Hand - full time, permanent.
The Production Lead Hand coordinates with multiple departments, working within a small team to ensure products are accurately fabricated to a superior quality standard.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Schedule and coordinate projects
- Train and mentor recruits
- Review, confirm and maintain manufacturing specifications
- Handson preassembly, assembly & final detailing
- Quality control
- Handson packing and shipping of orders
- Maintain inventory and shop supplies
- Warehouse and plant maintenance
Required Skills & Experience:
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Superior attention to detail and accuracy
- Responsible; ability to lead and coordinate a team to complete multiple tasks
- Organized; experienced in scheduling and coordinating manufacturing
- Mechanical aptitude; experienced in a fabrication environment
- Self-Starter; ability to quickly adapt to new challenges
- Experience with manufacturing management software would be considered an asset
- Must currently reside within 50kms of Brantford, Ontario
Salary:
$55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
