Why is this role important

Our Bakery Clerks help provide a positive in-store shopping experience by ensuring the bakery tables and shelves are always ready with fresh products that meet customer needs to live life well.

Our Clerks inspire our customers through delightful conversation and knowledge of products.

What you'll
do

Assist in the production of baked goods
Promote and support friendly, courteous customer relations in the bakery department
Merchandise, maintain and provide appropriate signage for the cake counter and displays
Fill customer requests, take special orders
Package and label all products produced (label and display)
Ice and decorate cakes and other products
Clean and maintain cake counters and coolers
Adhere to a strict cleaning schedule ensuring a high level of cleanliness and sanitation standards
Additional related duties as assigned by Bakery Manager

Who you are

A team player with an attention for detail
Driven and able to work independently in a fastpaced environment
Resourceful and courteous when resolving customer questions
Motivated to learn new things

What you bring

No experience is required however, experience working with / producing baked goods or decorating cakes is a strong asset
Availability to work flexible shifts
Able to move up to 50lbs, work with cold and hot conditions, and be in constant mobility for an entire shift

Note that our store hours are Monday through Sunday 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
