Your future role

  • Be the primary contact to prospects in the territory and maintain relationships with existing customers to contribute to their growth
  • Collaborate and work with potential distributors and direct customers, while supporting and training them, to boost ingredient sales, achieve accelerated growth and bring new customers
  • Take charge of launches of innovative products and build strategic partnerships, while continuously exploring new market opportunities for our plantbased ingredients
  • Monitor all customerrelated aspects — orders, opportunities, new projects, etc.
  • Monitor and maintain prospect records in CRM
  • Work with management to establish and execute B2B sales and marketing strategies
  • Participate in the preparation and implementation of annual budgets and sales forecasts
  • Meet or exceed annual and quarterly sales and margin targets for the assigned territory
  • Participate in trade shows to represent the company, identify new business opportunities and inform existing customers of innovation projects or new ingredients
  • Work actively with the marketing department to develop cooperation programs, sales activities, promotions, sales programs, educational programs, etc.
  • Work closely with other teams, such as R&D, operations, regulatory affairs, legal affairs and general management

Skills required

  • University degree in business and/or management
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a sales role in the health and nutrition, dietary supplements and/or food ingredients industry
  • Québec resident — ideally
  • Bilingual — French and English
  • Solid experience in all aspects of sales, particularly in prospecting and building sales from scratch
  • Experience in growth strategies, distribution network management, account development and sales planning
  • A welldefined sense of diplomacy and strong negotiation, conflict resolution and people management skills
  • Rigorous attitude toward problemsolving, decisionmaking, critical thinking, task planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent teamwork and team building skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with company departments, key business partners and customers
  • Excellent problem identification and resolution skills

  • Office at home with regular trips to meet customers and attend trade shows

Compétences requises

  • Diplôme universitaire en commerce et/ou en gestion
  • Au moins 5 ans d'expérience professionnelle dans un rôle de vente dans l'industrie de la santé et de la nutrition, des compléments alimentaires et/ou des ingrédients alimentaires
  • Idéalement situé dans la province du QuébecParfaitement bilingue, français et anglais
  • Solide expérience dans tous les aspects de la vente, en particulier dans la prospection et la construction des ventes à partir de zéro
  • Expérience en stratégies de croissance, gestion des canaux de distribution, développement de comptes et planification commerciale
  • Un sens bien défini de la diplomatie, y compris des compétences solides en négociation, résolution de conflits et gestion des personnes
  • Une attitude "mettezvous au travail" envers la résolution de problèmes, la prise de décision, la pensée critique, la planification des tâches et les compétences organisationnelles
  • Excellentes compétences en travail d'équipe et en construction d'équipe
  • Capacité à établir et à maintenir des relations durables avec les départements de l'entreprise, les partenaires commerciaux clés et les clients
