    My name is Melissa, I am a recruitment consultant in finance, accounting and payroll. I work in permanent and temporary positions in the Greater Montreal Region.

    I am looking for an accounting clerk for my client located in Hochelaga. This role is permanent, full time.

    Responsibilities

    • Create new suppliers in the accounting system
    • Match invoices, purchase orders and goods receipts
    • Verify and code service invoices, employee expense reports and pay statements
    credit card

    • Enter supplier invoices, expense reports and credit card statements
    in the accounting system

    • Track merchandise returns and credit notes
    • Produce and account for electronic bank transfers
    • Classify physical invoices
    • Reconcile accounts payable statements
    • Follow up on problematic invoices with suppliers and buyers
    • Update accounts payable and receivable each month
    • Deposit income checks with the bank's photo deposit tool
    • Produce sales invoices for machines
    • Answer the phone and receive visitors
    • Any other accounting or office tasks required by the controller or management
    Education/Experience/Knowledge Required

    • DEP/DEC/AEC in accounting or 5 years of experience with similar tasks.
    • Have an eye for detail
    • Know the Rydoo system (Asset)
    • Have a good command of ERP systems (Asset)
