Accounts Payable Receivable Clerk (Part-time - transition to full-time position)

AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR RETAIL
Career opportunity for an energetic, self-motivated professional looking for long term employment.

This position is an

in-person
General Accounts payable duties.

Full-cycle accounting including preparation of monthly journal entries, bank reconciliation, daily sales entries and other month-end/year-end closing

Preparation of GST returns.

Filing and maintenance of internal documents as required

Administrative support.

Other related job duties as determined by the business.

Specific Qualifications

QuickBooks: 1 year (required)
Bookkeeping: 3 years (required)
Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and Word

Must have 5+ years in an accounting environment, including experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Specific Skills and Experience in:

Reconcile accounts
Prepare G/L to trial balance
Compile and post journal entries
Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
Calculate and prepare entries for payroll
Prepare payroll and associated remittances
Keep financial records and establish and balance sheet accounts using computerized bookkeeping systems.

Working independently

Handling sensitive information with discretion. Exceptional time management skills
Proficient in planning, managing and executing daily, weekly and monthly deadlines. Clear communication skills
Must be able to thrive in a Fastpaced environment
Work well under pressure
