$89,915 - $112,398 (Commensurate with experience and consistent with UHN Compensation Policy)

OUR TEAM:


Within UHN Data & Analytics, the Business Intelligence & Automation Team seeks to advance UHN's decision intelligence capabilities, connecting decision makers to data that will enable UHN to take a holistic approach to fast, effective, and accurate real-time decision making.


The team bridges data, decisions, actions, and outcomes to help change how problems are solved, how data is visualized, and how intelligent automation technologies are applied.

Reporting to the Director, Business Intelligence & Automation, the Manager for Decision Intelligence will play a key role in developing and implementing end-to-end solutions that support, augment, and automate business decisions by linking data with decisions and outcomes.


YOUR STRENGTHS:


Project Management

  • Leading multiple projects of large scope/complexity from initiation to closeout, including effective planning, requirements gathering, workflow mapping, schedule, budget, and issue tracking, risk mitigation, and resource utilization;
  • Being exceptionally organized, detailoriented, adaptive, and clientfocused;
  • An innate ability to recognize problems, proactively research the best option, and utilize individual judgment and action to resolve them efficiently;

Change Management & Communications

  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprisewide change through comprehensive strategic planning, engagement and communications;
  • Possessing exceptional facilitation and communication skills and strong emotional intelligence to connect with stakeholders, build consensus, gain buyin, and build relationships;

Data & Analytics

  • Possessing knowledge of data attributes, governance, engineering, quality, maintenance, and visualization best practices;
  • Committed to continually seeking opportunities to advance UHN's analytics adoption maturity;
  • Determining business insights and opportunities through the collection, assessment, and analysis of complex organizational data;
  • Integrating strategies into operations by supporting the development of centralized processes and standards, and ensuring sustainability and continuous improvement;
  • Advancing data visualization and user experience guidelines to ensure reports and dashboards are presented in a meaningful and accessible manner that allows the user to easily understand and interpret data;

Leadership & Strategy

  • The ability to conceptualize processes, practices, and trends to support organizational strategy;
  • Facilitating a collaborative environment with executive leadership, program team(s), external vendors/contractors, and functional/business/technical stakeholders;
  • Possessing excellent team building, listening, coaching, and mentorship skills;
  • Selfmotivated, with the ability to work independently and efficiently;

QUALIFICATIONS:


Required:


  • An Undergraduate Degree in Health Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field;
  • 5+ years of project and people management experience, with 3+ years of experience as a fulltime Project Manager;
  • 3+ years of experience with largescale data/analytics management and oversight;
  • 3+ years of progressive responsibility leading organization changerelated initiatives (people, culture, behaviour, process and technology);
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and influence all levels of the organization;
  • Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI or equivalent);
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis, cleansing and ETL processes;
  • Knowledge of trends, strategic frameworks and advances in d
