    Senior Informatica ETL Developer /Senior Software Developer (ETL)
    • Contract Duration 18+ Months

    Job Overview:

    The Senior Software Developer (ETL) with strong experience using IDMC will:

    • mentor and support our ETL developers in their transition to IDMC
    • help with the ETL code conversion from legacy Informatica PowerCenter to IDMC
    • help with design and configuration
    • be the main support point for any issues faced by the team that require advanced IDMC knowledge.


    Job Responsibilities:

    • Senior Informatica ETL Developer assists with the design and configuration of the cloud infrastructure to optimally support IDMC.
    • Mentor and support our ETL developers in their transition to IDMC.
    • Help with the ETL code conversion from legacy Informatica PowerCenter to IDMC;
    • Help with ETL processes optimization and propose and implement technical solutions whenever Powercenter code is not supported in IDMC;
    • Be the main support point for any issues faced by the team that require advanced IDMC knowledge.
    • Provide knowledge transfer to other team members as needed.

    Must Haves:

    • Informatica Hands-On Working Experience (10+ years)
    • Design, build, and tune ETL/ELT solutions on-premises (Informatica PowerCenter)

    Evaluation Criteria:

    Informatica (10+ years) and AWS (5+ years) experience
    • Design, build, and tune ETL/ELT solutions on-premises (Informatica PowerCenter) and on-cloud (Informatica IDMC).
    • Informatica transformations, mappings, and workflows.
    • Migrate ETL workloads from on-premises to public cloud (AWS).
    • Scripting languages (Python, Linux shell).
    • ETL processes automation and orchestration
    • AWS services (S3, Athena, Lambda, Glue, AppFlow, Step Functions, CloudWatch etc).

    Database/Data warehouse (10+ years)
    • Relational database design and optimization experience.
    • Security controls to safeguard sensitive data (PI and PHI).
    • Query tuning.
    • Dimensional data modeling for data warehousing.
    • Advanced SQL and PLSQL (or equivalent).

    General Skills
    • Leadership skills with the ability to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
    • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, and presentation skills.
    • Proven troubleshooting and critical thinking experience.
    • A motivated, flexible, detail-oriented, and creative team player with perseverance, excellent organization and multi-tasking abilities, and a proven track record for meeting strict deadlines.

    Public Sector/Healthcare Experience
    • Knowledge of Public Sector Enterprise Architecture artifacts (or similar), processes and practices, and ability to produce technical documentation that complies with industry-standard practices.
    • Knowledge of industry standards such as Project Management Institute (PMI) and Public Sector I&IT project management methodologies.
    • Knowledge and understanding of Ministry policy and IT project approval processes and requirements.
    • Experience with large complex IT Health-related projects.

    Note:
    • Hybrid role- 3-days per week onsite required
