Pay rate $18.00/hr + $2.00 Travel ($20.00)


Shifts
Week 1 Friday, Saturday and Sunday 8pm to 8am

Week 2 Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

  • 84 hours Every 2 weeks
  • Would be required to work every weekend

Responsibilities:


  • Protect company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
  • Logging in and out trucks.
  • Conduct regular foot patrols at the appropriate times.
  • Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.
  • Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates.
  • Upon entry, checking in various trucks according to protocol.
  • Access control for the facility/area.
  • Ensuring that the facility's safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to site emergencies.
  • Demonstrating judgement, common sense, and decisionmaking ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents.

Skills:


  • Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position.
  • Trained Security Guard with a diploma in a related field.
  • Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment.
  • Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
  • Surveillance skills and detail orientation.
  • Integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to operate security equipment/systems, computers, radios, phones.
  • Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills.

Salary:
$18.00 per hour

  • 12 hour shift
  • Every Weekend
  • Night shift
  • Weekend availability
  • Weekends only

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Baden, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
