Position Overview:


Responsibilities:


  • Record and maintain financial transactions such as purchases, sales revenue, invoices, and payments using Excel and Sage 50.
  • Prepare interim financial statements on a quarterly basis.
  • Process payroll and maintain employee records.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and generate financial reports.
  • Calculate and prepare payments for payroll, utilities, taxes, and other bills.
  • Complete and submit various government documents including tax remittances, ROE's, GST reports, and T4's.
  • Manage accounts receivable duties including preparing invoices, monitoring payments, and managing customer files.
  • Manage accounts payable duties including entering purchase orders and vendor invoices, processing payments, and maintaining vendor files.
  • Monitor cash flow and reconcile bank accounts.
  • Manage insurance policies.
  • Maintain employee records and files.
  • Manage employee benefits program and worker's compensation board program.

Requirements:


  • Exceptional personality and high level of trustworthiness.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Basic accounting knowledge and understanding of accounting best practices.
  • Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to produce work with a high level of accuracy.
  • Extensive experience in Sage 50.

How to Apply:

$60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
