    Description

    As the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Supervisor at Initio, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging and therapy facility.

    You will ensure efficient workflow, high-quality patient care, and adherence to regulatory standards. Manage and coordinate all aspects of clinic operations, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.

    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and quality assurance standards.
    • Oversee the maintenance and calibration of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
    Recruit, train, and supervise clinic staff, including technologists, nurses, and administrative personnel.

    • Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities to team members.
    • Monitor patient flow and ensure timely completion of imaging studies and/or therapies while maintaining high standards of patient care and comfort.
    • Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a prompt and courteous manner.
    • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation and reporting of imaging results.
    • Quality Assurance and Compliance:
    • Conduct regular quality assurance checks to verify the accuracy and reliability of imaging data.
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, including PIPEDA, CNSC radiation safety guidelines, and DAP accreditation standards.
    • Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of services provided by the clinic.

    Administrative Duties:

    • Maintain electronic health records (EHR) and other documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
    • Prepare reports, budgets, and other administrative documents as required by clinic management.
    Diploma in Nuclear Medicine Technology from an accredited education facility.
    Certification as Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine (RTNM)
    Bachelor's Degree or similar Healthcare Administration, or related field would be an asset.

    Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a PET imaging or nuclear medicine setting, with at least 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience.

    Proficiency in relevant software applications.
