Manager, People & Culture
REPORTS TO: Senior Director, People & Culture


We are looking for a
Manager, People & Culture to join our People & Culture team Our Manager, People & Culture will champion our company culture initiatives and ensure the effective delivery of services to employee groups at One Degree Organics.

In this role, you will have a significant hand in developing and executing an effective strategy that promotes One Degree as an employer of choice The primary challenge is to help us continue to build the foundation of a progressive People & Culture practice within this hyper-growth, family-owned organization.

You must be resourceful and demonstrate a solutions-based approach to the important work you are leading, as well as excellent leadership and coaching skills.

You will have the opportunity to lead a team, drive change, and further develop your skills working on challenging and exciting projects

EXPERIENCE

  • You have 5+ years of progressive experience working in Human Resource or related experience
  • You have a Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field
  • You have experience working in a culturally diverse work environment
  • You have experience leading and developing a team

NICE-TO-HAVE

  • CPHR or relevant professional designation
  • You have experience working in a food manufacturing facility
  • You have experience supporting USbased employees

THINGS YOU WILL DO

  • Support current, and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of the organizational culture at One Degree
  • Act as an ambassador of the People & Culture mission in all aspects of your work
  • Provide excellent guidance and coaching to your customer groups
  • Work closely with the Sr Director, People & Culture to align on all initiatives related to the overall talent acquisition strategy, onboarding, strategic compensation initiatives, talent & organizational development, performance management, engagement, and other people & culture focused activities.
  • Partner with the Sr Director, People & Culture and Finance to develop policies and streamline existing processes
  • Serve as a people advocate and maintain collaborative rapport with employee leadership
  • Oversee various learning & development initiatives and provide ongoing coaching to the team
  • Actively partner with key stakeholders to forecast needs related to manpower and organizational planning
  • Consult with managers/supervisors on employee issues and oversee effective corrective action process
  • Participate in annual compensation reviews and guide potential changes
