Project Description**:

As a Project Manager in the Technology and Data Delivery team, supporting Regulatory activities, you will partner with operations, technology and data teams to deliver new capabilities.

You will be accountable for project management, defining strategic enhancements through all phases of the project lifecycle from inception, build and delivery of the product to business clients.

You will have a passion for getting things done the right way.

Responsibilities:

Owning the project outcome and delivering the agreed business success criteria; monitoring progress against work plan and deliverables;
Identifying and managing projects/program priorities by successfully mitigating dependencies and competing priorities across related initiatives. Such priority management includes resource estimate assessment and resource forecasting so that bottlenecks are eliminated or minimized;
Creating effective project reporting artefacts;
Communicating project status and issues as appropriate to the audience;
Escalating issues and risks, as appropriate, with a particular focus on implications;
Managing project financials ensuring appropriate fiscal control;
Working with alignment to CPPIB's Project Management Methodology.
Manage the budget and resources for assigned projects
Provide regular updates to the business owners and IT Senior Management

Skills:

Must have

Minimum of 10+ years experience as a Project Manager in the Financial Services industry.
Experience working with collaboration tools, such as SharePoint, Confluence, Jira
Excellent analytical and decisionmaking skills.
Experience managing vendors and subcontractors
Experience managing complex integrations
Clear understanding of Project Management methodologies (i.e. Waterfall / Agile models).
Experience maintaining documentation for projects, including the tracking of risks, action logs, and project deliverables.
Experience in completing full SDLC cycle
Technical background in SW Dev
Highly organized and detailoriented.
A strong written and verbal communicator, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
Able to effectively multitask, and deliver quality results within fastpaced project deliverable deadlines.
Good at building networks, connections, positive collaborations, and consensus.
Flexible and resilient, ready to face new approaches
Able to work independently, as well as part of a team.
Able to clearly describe and isolate inscope and outofscope elements.
Able to interact with multiple stakeholders at different levels within the organization
