Job Description:
The Academic Integrity Administrator, reporting to the Senior Manager, Academic Integrity Office (AIO), is responsible for providing support through the implementation of the academic integrity policies, procedures, best practices, and educational supports at Algonquin College.
The incumbent is responsible for education, support, and consultation with students, employees, and faculty with the goal of increasing knowledge and understanding of the principles and practices of academic integrity in support of the College's commitment to academic excellence.
Provides expert knowledge and advice to ensure consistency, guidance and support to the academic integrity process in collaboration with the Senior Manager, Academic Integrity Office.
The Academic Integrity Administrator is involved in the development and implementation of programs, and initiatives to support the goal of fostering a culture of academic integrity at Algonquin College.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of a four (4) year degree in Business, Education, Administration or a related fields; Minimum of seven (7) years experience in a postsecondary educational institution and preferably within a large unionized environment; Experience working directly with faculty and students; Experience working with university/college academic integrity cases; Ability to coordinate multiple and diverse activities; Proven interpersonal skills; Ability to work effectively in teams; Excellent communication skills (oral and written); ability to speak effectively to a variety of audiences, public speaking and presentations; Ability to work in a fastpaced environment; Selfstarter with ability to work independently with little direction or direct supervision; Facilitation skills to assist in the effective management of meetings between faculty and students; Decisionmaking skills including the exercise of discretion; Good knowledge of College policies, procedures and guidelines; Knowledge of, and experience in, the following areas:
- Curriculum development & instructional design
