Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to join our team at Elephant.

The General Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day operations, managing service during peak hours (Friday to Monday), and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for our guests.

Working in collaboration with our chef and business partner, the General Manager will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of service, optimizing operational efficiency, and managing the restaurant's beverage program.


Responsibilities:


1.


Operations Management:

Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring a smooth flow of service.
Supervise and support front-of-house staff to maintain exceptional customer service.
Implement and uphold standard operating procedures to guarantee consistency.

Service Excellence:

Work service shifts on Friday to Monday, providing leadership and support to the front-of-house team.
Foster a customer-centric environment, ensuring guest satisfaction and handling any concerns or issues promptly.

Beverage Program:

Curate and manage the wine and beverage program, ensuring a diverse and high-quality selection.
Collaborate with suppliers to maintain an updated and innovative beverage menu.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and develop front-of-house staff to uphold Elephant's standards.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional growth.


5.


Financial Management:

Monitor and control operational costs to achieve budgetary goals.
Implement strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with the chef and business partner to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to overall restaurant management.
Participate in regular meetings to discuss strategy, menu development, and business growth.


Qualifications:

Proven experience in restaurant management, with a focus on high-end or omakase dining preferred.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including service, staffing, and financial management.
Passion for food, wine, and providing exceptional hospitality.
