  • Our Bracebridge location is presently recruiting for a Lube Technician to join our dynamic team of customer minded professionals. We are looking for an individual with a positive mindset that can think strategically. If you qualify for this position, we will be happy to hear from you._

SUMMARY
Under close supervision, the Lube Technician works with the Service Team to complete preventative and light maintenance.

Will require some previous mechanical experience, be familiar with tools of the trade and have an interest in career as a Truck and Coach Mechanic.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct quality preventative maintenance responsibilities.
  • Complete thorough vehicle inspections to assess and ensure work is completed to standard.
  • Perform lubrications, oil changes and check fluid levels.
  • Complete computer based training necessary to complete job requirements.
  • Observe and follow all company safety rules and policies.
  • Comply with requirements as outlined in the OHSA, WHMIS company handbook and all other company issued memos and policies including proper use of appropriate PPE. Follow business code of ethics and communicate to team.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • None for this position.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and or ability required to successfully perform the job.


_Education and/or experience_

  • Basic, working computer skills.
  • GED or ACE

_Language Skills_

  • Fluent in English for both oral and written correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.

_Mathematical Skills_

_Reasoning Ability_

_Certificate, Licenses, Registrations_

  • Valid Class G driver's license

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is required to stand for long periods of time, reaching, bending / stooping, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • The noise level in the work environment is minor.
