About you / qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience credit lending or within a similar role
- Business development and relationship building experience within the mortgage industry. Mortgage industry networks an asset
- Knowledge of mortgage lending (insured and uninsured), mortgage insurance policies and guidelines, and mortgage underwriting practices an asset
- Presentation skills
- Customerfocused, adept at building client relations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Energetic and outgoing.
- Selfstarter who can work with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Experience in using SalesForce as a CRM tool is an asset
About the day-to-day:
- Build and maintain positive business relationships with Mortgage Brokers and Mortgage Agents to influence the sale of Peoples Bank mortgage products
- Follow and maintain a defined sales strategy based on activities and database management
- Identify business opportunities with respect to increasing sales in their region including the identification of potential new broker/agent relationships.
- Prepare, coordinate and present sales presentations and proposals to new and existing brokers and agents.
- Attend and promote the Bank's mortgage products at industry Trade Shows, Conferences, and Promotional Events.
- Accountable for achieving and reporting sales activity targets for the regions.
- Manage territory expenses and accountable for overall budget.
- Achieve Key Result Areas as required for the role.
- Related administrative duties as required.
