Rockwell Lounge is seeking a front of house manager that will work closely with our Chef and bar manager.
The Front of House Manager's responsibilities will include ensuring efficient restaurant operation, maintaining the restaurant's revenue and profitability goals as well as ensuring productivity and quality customer service standards are met.
You will be responsible for hiring and training staff, setting work schedules, managing staffing levels, inventory counts, menu maintenance, cash outs, floor management and table service, ensure employees comply with company policies, health and safety guidelines, and liquor service regulations.
You will be expected to lead by example and maintain positive and efficient service during fast paced restaurant and event service.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Ensure professional, responsive, and friendly service to all members and guests
- Demonstrate complete and accurate knowledge of the full menu, wine and drink list
- Handle complaints with professionalism and tact
- Work in a team oriented, face paced environment
- Planning and executing special events
- Provide leadership to all staff
- Act as a positive role model and can lead by example
- Generates ideas and programs to increase staff morale
- Maintain inventory levels and create regular inventory reports
- Teamwork with the Chef, Sous Chef, and Bar Manager
- Implement policies and protocols that will increase efficiencies and maintain future restaurant operations
Qualifications:
- A minimum requirement of 3 years total of hospitality education and/or experience.
- Essential skills of this position include interacting with members and their families, committees, and vendors
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to promote a positive work atmosphere
- Strong organizational skills, significant use of memory and detail orientated
- Reliable and great work ethic
- A motivated, friendly, and composed, team player
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Compensation:
