Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform preliminary patient screenings, including taking medical history and documenting chief complaint
- Conduct various diagnostic tests, such as visual acuity, A/R ,Icare, visual field testing and OCT
- Ascan and Iolmaster 700 testing.
- Assist ophthalmologist or optometrist during procedures and examinations
- Administer eye medications as directed by healthcare provider
- Maintain accurate and uptodate electronic medical records
- Oscar EMR
Experience:
- Previous experience working as an ophthalmic technician or in a related role preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, such as Oscar
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to ophthalmology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment

Salary:
$21.00-$24.00 per hour

Experience:
- Ophthalmology: 2 years (preferred)
