Founded in 1904, the Beaconsfield Golf Club is a fully private premier golf club located on the West Island of Montreal with a bilingual membership.

The Club includes over 500 active members and recently committed to a full renovation of the golf course to be completed in 2025.

• Will report directly to the Head Professional and be responsible for, but not limited to:
• Providing exceptional customer service to members and their guests
• Being part of a dynamic retail operation and taking the lead in inventory management
• Maintain the Professional Shop's appearance, ensuring it is always neat, clean, and organized at all times
• Responsible for all visual merchandising of the Professional Shop
• Manage and operate the POS (Northstar) for all transactions
• Build and maintain a positive relationship with Club members in a friendly and professional manner
• Assist in the annual purchasing for the Professional Shop, finding unique items to improve the quality of the shopping experience
• Attend the annual golf show and meet with sales representatives
• Assist the Professional Shop staff in various golf operation duties

• Postsecondary degree or diploma preferred
• Sound understanding of all retail elements, including inventory management, merchandising, and sales
• Minimum 2 years experience working in retail
• Positive, professional attitude and a team player with strong interpersonal skills
• A keen desire to deliver outstanding customer service
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to multitask while working in a highpaced environment
• Ability to communicate in both French and English
• Previous experience in the golf industry is considered an asset, but not essential
