Our business specializes in remanufacturing automotive transmission components.
At our facility, every item we work on is unique.

Remanufacturing deals with items which have all gone through different usages, as a result, each item must undergo different specialized processes to restore and enhance OEM quality.

This means that every day is a new challenge, and we are looking for someone who can handle the complexity of this work.

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Parts Machinist to join our team.

This role requires a strong focus on quality control, ensuring that all remanufactured items meet the required OEM specifications, as well as the ability to identify and correct any defects or inconsistencies.

What you will do:

As an Automotive Parts Machinist, you will be working near the end of the production line.

After items have been opened, cleaned, reassembled, and welded, they will reach your station. The role begins by pressure testing each item to ensure there are no leaks. Should you find a leak, you will need to repair it. From there, you will need to test the item for proper balancing. Finally, you will use a lathe to polish a portion of the item.

Duties Summarized:

Pressure test torque converters and verify there are no leaks
Balance torque converters and ensure items are within spec
Polish torque converter hubs on lathe
Welding
Be comfortable lifting heavy items regularly
Have experience with welding and operating a lathe (Not essential as we will train you, but it is an added benefit if you have previous experience)
A keen eye for detail, the ability to think quickly, make sound decisions, and the capacity to work independently without supervision
Capable of lifting items averaging 40lbs repeatedly throughout an eight (8) hour shift
Capable of standing for long periods of time

We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow within our company.
We will offer full training.

This is a full-time position, and hours are consistently 8:00am to 4:30pm

We are looking for someone who is reliable, steady, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
