Description

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout and specifications of structures
• Measure and mark surfaces to lay out work according to the design plans
• Build or repair walls, chimneys, fireplaces, patios, and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry materials
• Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto surfaces using a trowel
• Lay bricks or other masonry units in horizontal and vertical rows, ensuring that they are level and aligned
• Use various hand tools such as hammers, chisels, and trowels to shape, trim, and clean bricks or other materials
• Cut bricks or other materials to fit around windows, doors, corners, or other obstacles

• Proven Minimum 5 years of experience as a Brick Mason or similar role
• Proficient in masonry techniques including laying bricks and blocks
• Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting schematics
• Ability to renovate, build, and restore structures using various masonry materials
• Experience operating heavy equipment for moving materials or operating power tools

• Strong knowledge of masonry techniques and materials
• Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting schematics
• Ability to operate heavy equipment for material movement (e.g. forklifts)
• Skilled in using power tools such as saws and drills for cutting and shaping materials
• Knowledge of caulking techniques for sealing structures against moisture penetration
• Proficient in using hand tools such as hammers, chisels, and trowels for shaping and cleaning materials
