Hunter Steel is seeking someone who is reliable and dependable to add to our team We are a family run business with nearly 50 years of trusted and dependable service.

What you'll do:


  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Report directly to the Branch Manager.
  • Ability to drive pick up truck for deliveries as required.
  • Capable of heavy lifting.
  • Ability to use hand held torches, tow motor, overhead crane, tape measure, micrometers, verniers.
  • Ability to operate bandsaws.
  • Perform receiving tasks.
  • Ensure that all product in the shop is identified/coded/put away.
  • Pull orders from the shipping order for deliveries, assist with loading.
  • Identify pulled orders on the shop floor by means of shipping tag or writing on the product.
  • Complete all documentation in regards to the Quality Program (ie: shipping order signoffs, receiving stamps, internal transfers, daily inspection sheets, quality control sheets)

What you'll need:


  • Steel knowledge and experience.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Great work ethic.
  • Steel toe boots.
  • G Driver's licence
