Your Challenge

Our Rexdale location is looking for a Receiver who is able to drive in tight spaces and able to deliver and pick up material to the production line

Responsibilities:

Receiving and warehousing duties, including unloading trailers and inspecting materials.
Assist baler with removal of bales of scrap for recycling.
Operate fork lift, hand truck, tow motor or other equipment to unload, transport and store supplies, materials, equipment and stock.
Complete necessary administrative duties and reports in an accurate and timely manner.
Turn in maintenance orders to supervisor for repairs. Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.
Adhere to production schedule. Make recommendations for optimizing schedule to meet cost, quality and service goals. Report any unusual scheduling issues to Supervisor.
Comply with all company policies and procedures, including conduct, Health & Safety and maintaining good housekeeping, as well as all government regulations.
Ensure compliance with set policies and procedures within I.S.O.
Safety oriented with working knowledge of OHSA and WHMIS
Additional duties related to or not related to this job classification as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

Valid Lift truck Certification and ability to display safe and proficient operation
Minimum three years experience in manufacturing environment with preference given to Corrugated/Packaging industry experience.
Ability to prioritize tasks and execute results, which will promote customer satisfaction.
Ability to deal with conflict, stress and time constraints in an efficient, professional, courteous manner.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows an asset
