As a Warehouse Associate, you'll work in a dynamic and multifaceted environment.
Reporting to the Branch Manager directly, the Warehouse Associate must have forklift operating experience and a positive can-do attitude with the ability to adapt to change.
Your primary focus is to stage shipments by processing orders on a timely basis. In addition, you are able to professionally address customers.Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Receive, load and unload products and packages from vehicles while exercising care and attention to avoid damages
- Identify, count, sort, pick, pack, unpack, stock, organize, and move products in the warehouse
- Processing, packaging and shipping orders accurately
- Loads products for customer deliveries in a safe, efficient, and timely manner
- Inspects deliveries for defects and damages, or missing orders
- Examine and monitor ingoing and outgoing shipments
- Follow best OHS practices to safely operate all equipment, making sure to properly inspect and use machinery/equipment/vehicles appropriately
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient way according to relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Accurately completes and maintains waybills, paperwork, customer invoices, orders, and delivery paperwork
- Maintain accurate records and database of products to provide management of accurate representation of inventory
- Organizing stocks and maintaining inventory. Assist during inventory counts as well
- Properly handle, pack, label and stage received product according to company standards
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and conduct at all times
- Other general labourer duties may be required
Job Qualifications:
- Valid Class 5 (nonGDL) Driver's License required
- Excellent numeracy skills required
- Reliability and punctuality are a must
- Ability to lift and carry products up to 50lbs (23kg) individually
- Ability to operate and handle material movement equipment (Forklift Operation Certification is a bonus)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Be a reliable team player
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent problemsolving skills
- Strong organizational skills

From $20.00 per hour
