    As Corporate Communications Manager, you will be a key contributor to a small, high-performing team focused on driving internal and external strategies in support of business goals and company culture. You bring excellence to everything you do and excel at collaborating cross-functionally and providing strategic communications support to key stakeholders across the business.

    Detailed Description

  • Plan, develop and execute our internal communications to connect employees to our strategy, shape their experience at Celestica, and strengthen our company culture.
  • Through a mix of channels and formats, bring our strategy to life by keeping employees informed about our business, helping them align their work with business priorities, and driving engagement across our organization.
  • Work closely with senior members of our corporate HR team to develop and execute internal communications strategies to support global HR initiatives.
  • Create compelling employer brand communications to promote Celestica as an employer of choice, and develop proactive strategies to drive brand interaction via digital and social media.
  • Craft engaging social narratives that authentically showcase our corporate culture and community giving activities, amplifying our employer brand and attracting top talent through compelling storytelling. Differentiate the tone of the content depending on the platform being used.
  • Support internal client groups with their communications needs by creating engaging content tailored to a variety of internal channels and audiences.
  • Support leaders with key communication activities.
  • Develop and execute strategies to boost employee engagement, including global events and recognition programs.
  • Plan, develop, and launch engaging content for various platforms, including stories, blog posts, corporate announcements, marketing materials, video, social media posts and other digital content.
  • Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

  • Superior knowledge and experience in internal and external communications practices, principles, tactics, trends and mediums.
  • Experience developing and executing social media campaigns for various platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook to build brand awareness.
  • Analyze and interpret social media metrics to drive data-driven decisions, refining storytelling strategies for maximum impact and engagement. Be able to share this data with stakeholders across the company.
  • Outstanding communication skills with a demonstrated ability in writing and communications strategy development.
  • Ability to interact effectively with senior leaders.
  • Experience with and ability to develop and manage communications programs on a global basis, across geographies and in multiple languages an asset.
  • Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a wide variety of complex tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion
  • Physical Demands

  • Duties of this position are generally performed in good working conditions.
  • Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
  • Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Typical Experience

  • Seven to ten years' relevant experience.
  • Typical Education

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A post-graduate diploma in communications an asset.
