- Assisting with researching and compiling historical data about our assets;
- Entering financial related data into our asset management software;
- Creating and maintaining various asset management related spreadsheets;
- Contributing to developing and maintaining infrastructure information records;
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure ongoing asset management activities are properly tracked and documented;
- Performing basic procurement and contract administrative tasks;
- Providing administrative and financial support services regarding internal project management functions associated with Capital Project Delivery Services; and
- Providing administrative support services regarding the function of Advisory Committee(s) as assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements
Preferred: - Advanced experience and proficiency in providing Administrative Professionals' core support services and is knowledgeable of bookkeeping and financial processes and procedures;
- Training or related experience pertaining to Asset Management;
- Training or related experience pertaining to basic procurement practices;
- The ability to adapt to new technology and readily acquire new technical skills;
- Good command of written English; and
- Possess a post-secondary education in business administration, financial or accounting, office administration, or relevant field, (or has completed related courses) and has a minimum of two years' equivalent combined office/financial/technical experience.
Required: - Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent;
- Keyboarding, word processing and general knowledge of computer applications;
- Accredited computer training in Microsoft office or related experience;
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills;

The current wage is $30.23 per hour based on 2023 rates, and is subject to change per collective agreement execution. The position will be 35 hours per week with hours of work expected to be 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
The position is subject to the CUPE Local 798 Collective Agreement.
