Job Description:


The
Pricing and Purchasing Specialist ensures changes in market pricing and factors is reflected in AIM's internal systems and communicated effectively to all stakeholders.

The Pricing Specialist will work closely with many internal stakeholders also while ensuring purchases align with purchase order and other information.


What you're responsible for:


  • Complete and Communicate pricing letters to our customers
  • Lead process improvements for order intake with various stakeholders in the organization
  • Lead process improvements for providing updated pricing to the customer at intervals compliant with our contractual obligation s
  • Translate deals completed between Sales Department and Customers to capture in our internal systems
  • Create Purchase Settlements when required based on commercial obligations
  • Send Scale Tickets / Customer Backup to Suppliers daily
  • Liaise between various departments, including Transportation, Sales, Finance

Qualifications:


  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational & interpersonal skills
  • A serviceoriented, collaborative, and teamfirst attitude
  • Extremely Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook and Excel). Strong understanding of Macros and Visual Basic.
  • Ability to effectively communicate & prioritize in a fastpaced team environment.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines in a fastpaced quickly changing environment
  • A proactive approach to problemsolving with strong decisionmaking skills
  • Relevant College or University Degree is required
