We specialize in building enclosure design and field reviews for the residential, institutional, industrial and commercial construction industry throughout British Columbia.

Aqua-Coast is a successful and growing company providing practical and sustainable solutions for our ongoing clients. Aqua-Coast Engineering is looking for a
Building Science Project Manager to join our growing team to assist in projects.

Qualifications:

Bachelors in architectural and/or Building Science.
Ability to work independently, diligently and efficiently
Able to prepare enclosure analysis and testing results summary reports
Experience with Microsoft Office is an Asset (Word, Excel, PPT)
Interested in building enclosure or construction
Drivers License
Eligible to be registered with EGBC as an E.I.T

Responsibilities:

Review of architectural drawings and specifications
Building Envelope Thermal Bridging Calculations, Trade-Off Calculations, assembly RSI Calculations, and basic Hygrothermal Analysis of assemblies.
Review of applicable shop drawings
Composition of building envelope review documents (Plan Reviews)
Coordination with architects, engineers, contractors and clients on a jobbyjob basis
Attend site meetings and design coordination meetings
Drafting and detail development where and when required
Conducting field reviews and issuing field review reports
