Your primary responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
As an Accounting Technician/Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in our team by:

Providing bookkeeping support to our clients and internal professionals.
Handling various accounting service assignments, including general ledger postings, account reconciliations, and report generation from accounting systems.
Efficiently managing compilation engagements, including direct client interaction for queries, requirements identification, and issue resolution.
Preparing corporate and personal tax returns.
Fulfilling other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or business, or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge of Canadian bookkeeping and accounting practices.
Proficiency with accounting software such as QBO, Sage 50, QuickBooks desktop, and Microsoft Office.
Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software.
Effective time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
Flexibility to meet the unique needs of our clients, including occasional travel to client locations.
A teamoriented mindset.
