1 ‐ Full Time ‐ Clinical Trials Research Associate

Clinical Trials
Under the direction of the Manager Clinical Trials, the Clinical Trials Research Associate is responsible for working

on all aspects of the clinical trials process including start up procedures, preparation of document templates for

clinical trials, registration of patients to clinical trials, monitoring participants on study, collection and submission of

data, data collection via telephone calls with participants and monitoring of study compliance. Duties also include

laboratory sample processing and shipping, responding to enquiries, ensuring data collection is accurate, complete

and submitted to the sponsor within the allotted time frame, maintaining and updating data as required.


Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Bachelor's degree or recognized equivalent in a Health or Science related program
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Clinical trials related experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility in work hours as they may vary
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated, self directed and able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to provide close attention to detail and to ensure accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Meditech, Mosaiq, MS Word, Excel, Power Point and working with a variety of
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • SOCRA certification (Society of Clinical Research Associates) or able to obtain within two years and maintain
  • Current Good Clinical Practice Certificate (CITI)
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods Training certificate (air and ground)
  • Strong team player

Salary Range:
$29.376 to 30.037
