Henderson Roller Smit is currently recruiting an
Accounting Manager to join our strong and diverse public accounting team.

You will be engaged to plan and supervise complex audits, reviews and compilations; as well as prepare and review corporate and personal tax returns.

You will also train, mentor and provide leadership to junior and senior level staff.

About the Opportunity

  • Overall responsibility for the development and implementation of complex engagements with mínimal direction required
  • Leadership and supervision of junior and senior staff
  • Engagement liaison between client, client staff and Firm staff
  • Development of audit/review plans and budgets for the partner's approval
  • Enthusiastic participation on committees or project teams to accomplish Firm goals

About You

  • Qualified CPA, CA, with experience in public accounting; a minimum of two year's experience as a senior accountant, responsible for completing complex engagements
  • Experience supervising, supporting and inspiring junior and senior level staff through regular performance coaching and mentorship
  • Fierce dedication to client service excellence
  • Proven experience delivering highquality client engagements, while balancing productivity requirements
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office (Word and Excel), CaseWare, CaseView and TaxPrep
