KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Review and post AR batches for AR team and AR associates across the company.
  • Develop and implement strategies to effectively monitor aging receivables, communicate regarding payment obligations, and escalate collection efforts when necessary.
  • Prepare and present regular AR reports, including aging reports, cash flow projections, and analysis of outstanding balances. Identify trends and provide insights to improve financial performance.
  • Utilize Yardi Voyager to maintain accurate records and streamline AR processes. Ensure data integrity and implement best practices.
  • Assist with Tenant Pre-Authorized Debt processing, acting as a liaison between property management, banking and Yardi, where necessary.
  • Address inquiries, concerns, and issues related to collections in a professional and customercentric manner.
  • Stay uptodate with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance in the commercial real estate sector.

QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field,
  • Five (5) or more years of accounts receivable experience, ideally within Commercial Real Estate.
  • Strong managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team towards achieving common goals.
  • Proficiency in property management and accounting software (e.g., Yardi) an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Proactive in identifying potential issues and taking preventive measures to mitigate risks.
  • Exceptional problemsolving abilities to address complex issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, tenants and service providers.
  • A servicecentric approach, prioritizing service and the ability to build and maintain internal and external trust.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, teams, and projects simultaneously.
  • A keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in our data and system.
