    Our client in the Healthcare industry is currently looking for a Prosecutions Law Clerk to join their team on a full-time basis for an 11 week contract with potential extension. This role will be once a week onsite Downtown Toronto, and the rest of the week you will be able to work remotely.

    Responsibilities:

    • Facilitate efficient proceedings by preparing disclosure, drafting legal documents, scheduling and attending witness interviews, and providing comprehensive support throughout hearings.
    • Maintain organized files, ensuring adherence to team processes and optimizing workflow efficiency.
    • Coordinate pre-hearing conferences, conduct legal research, prepare exhibits, coordinate expert witness testimony, and provide administrative support to legal counsel.
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, gather and analyze case-related information, and ensure effective communication.
    • Maintain accurate records, prepare summaries and reports, and act as a liaison between legal teams, clients, witnesses, and court personnel.

    Requirements:

    • Completion of Law Clerk or Paralegal Diploma.
    • Either registered as a Law Clerk with the LLCO or a registered Paralegal with the Law Society of Ontario.
    • 2+ years of experience working as a Law Clerk or Paralegal.
    • Experience working with a regulatory body or in the public sector is a plus.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
