    Description

    The Carpenter, Apprentice Carpenter is responsible for contributing to the construction and maintenance of strong and long-lasting buildings and products.

    Building foundations, installing floor beams, laying sub-flooring, and installing walls and roofing systems.
    Measuring, cutting, and joining materials made of wood or wood substitutes.
    Build scaffolding and other construction structures
    Preparing layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
    Supervise apprentices and other construction workers.
    Previous commercial and/or institutional construction experience is required.
    Journeyman or Apprentice Carpenter ticket is required.
    Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction is required.
    Proficiency using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools is required.
    Ability to read technical documents and drawings is required.
    Zoom boom, skid steer and other valid tickets are an asset.
    Must have a valid and clean Driver's license and be willing to travel to various sites.
    Must have a proven ability to take initiative and be respectful of diversity.

    Ready to start your project? We are just two months away from moving into a new facility that is being built by AMAN.

    All of my concerns and fears associated with a project like this that lurked in my mind have never materialized.
