Humans of HR is partnering with our client in Greater Vancouver to identify an experienced and proactive Quality Manager to join their leadership team.
This is a high-impact role responsible for leading the organization's Quality, Health, and Safety programs. The successful candidate will ensure regulatory compliance, strengthen internal systems, and foster a culture rooted in safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. This role offers the opportunity to influence both strategy and day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (ISO experience strongly preferred)
- Develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and industry standards
- Oversee internal and external audits, inspections, and reporting requirements
- Investigate incidents and lead corrective and preventive action initiatives
- Partner with operations and leadership teams to identify process improvements
- Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to managers and employees
- Track and report on key performance indicators related to quality and safety
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Quality and/or HS leadership
- Strong knowledge of quality systems, regulatory compliance, and audit processes
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or operational environments is considered an asset
