KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


The Lab Supervisor will be responsible for the planning and daily management of the department and will follow performance standards and procedures.


  • Supervise Quality Control team, including allocation of responsibilities and workload and undertake handson Quality Control tasks
  • Participate in orienting and training new employees
  • Provide regular feedback to Operations Manager regarding quality performanc and issues
  • Participate in the development of processes and procedures in the Quality Control Department. Ensure all members are properly trained and follow processes and procedures in their day to day activities
  • Communicate inhouse quality perfromance metrics
  • Shall have such duties and responsibilities as are assigned to him/her from time to time by management of the company
  • His/her principal place of work will be Leamington, Ontario

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:


  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Commitment to accuracy and detail oriented
  • Ability to perform under pressure and work in a fastpaced environment
  • Effective communication skills
  • Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Strong problem indentification and problem resolution skills
  • Must have their own transport

EDUCATION:


  • Biology Diploma is an asset
  • Leadership Training

HOURS:


  • Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm with occasional overtime and weekends
