Summary
The Machine Operator -Put Away is responsible moving stock via machine to Put Away location in the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

Verify that correct items are being put away to the correct location.
Ensure stock is "pick ready" once it is put away.
Perform RF functions and conduct relocations, consolidations, etc.
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards.
Open bales, crates and other containers when needed.
Ensure equipment is maintained and operated in safe manner.
Inspect and report on any equipment malfunctions.
Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, Sweep, dust and mop.
Conduct daily cleanup or assigned aisle.
Comply with company policies and procedures.
Support and follow internal health and safety programs and protocols.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Secondary diploma or equivalent experience.
Experience in a large warehouse facility an asset.
12 years of operating a forklift.
Valid forklift certification, specifically Reach Truck machine.
Working knowledge of Warehouse Manager System (Manhattan) including being proficient with RF scanners and equipment is an asset.
Communication skills written, verbal and ability to read and understand internal documents.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and walk long distances.
