Ottawa Warehouse Assistant

_Benefits:
_

Wage is $20.00 per hour $1/ hour premium for night shift.
Health Benefits after 6 months (company pays 80% and team member pays 20%)
2 weeks paid vacation per year
6 paid sick days per year eligible after 6 months

_ Duties & Responsibilities:
_

Accurately select customer orders, and pack them onto a skid for shipping.
Wrap skid
Load and unload trucks
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment at all times.
Perform all other tasks/duties as required.
Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices.
Record shortages and reject damaged goods.

FULL-TIME night shift is 10 -6:00 am (Mon to Fri) Hours can vary based on business needs

_ Skills:
_

Good communication and listening skills.
Must be reliable and punctual.
Must be able to work independently
Must be able to read and write English
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
Ability to lift lbs.
Is a team player and result oriented
Forklift experience preferred, however willing to train to work towards your forklift license.

_ Working Conditions:
_

Working in and out of Coolers and Freezer (min time spent in the freezer).
