    Job Summary

    As a Sales Representative manage the sales activity for IPEX Mechanical piping products in the Northern Alberta region. In this role, you will target Mechanical/Industrial engineers, distributors, contractors and city officials to identify their needs and then find solutions that best meet the needs of their organizations through the promotion and application of IPEX Piping Systems.


    Principal Responsibilities

    The Sale Representative role will include the promotion of IPEX products to ensure continued growth and to enhance IPEX's position as a market leader through regular visits to a diverse customer base of wholesalers, contractors, engineering consultants and end-users. An ability to secure specifications at the engineering level, cultivate strategic partnerships with distributors and contractors and to develop a strong presence with major end-users will be instrumental for success.

    Qualifications & Experience

  • Completion of a University Degree or College Diploma in Business, Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology;
  • A minimum of 2 years' progressive experience in sales and marketing within construction or industrial industries;
  • A strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of value-selling;
  • Excellent technical communication & negotiation skills with strong presentation abilities;
  • A dedicated team-player outlook;
  • The ability to work independently, with strong self-motivation skills;
  • Great customer relationship management skills;
  • Willingness for overnight travel (approx 25%)
