BOOKKEEPER

Position Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company.


What you will be doing:

• Manage all accounting and financial operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll and financial reporting
• Ensure accurate and uptodate records of all financial transactions
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
• Support accounts by verifying, allocating and posting transactions
• Complete tax forms
• Manage the processing and payment of all company expenses approved by management
• Handle confidential materials and documents
• Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements
• Perform other bookkeeping duties as required

Education and Experience:

• BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
• Previous bookkeeping experience (minimum 23 years) within a small to medium sized business
• Experience with Spire an asset

What you bring to the table:

• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable principles
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Advanced skills with MS Excel, along with an aptitude for numbers
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office
• High level of discretion and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential documentation
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry
• Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines

Salary:
$60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
