What you'll do


The Data Analyst will play a critical role on the Customer Experience & Continuous Improvement team within the Customer Service & Operations Division at Canadian Tire Bank.

Using data & analytical methods, this team delivers actionable insights that helps the organization design experiences that meet the needs of our customers.


  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business opportunities, developing datadriven intelligence to enable process improvements ultimately adding tangible business value
  • Query, extract and transform raw data from multiple data tables to conduct indepth analysis of customer interactions across various channels
  • Develop reporting dashboards to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Provide clear communication of analyses and results to key stakeholders and senior management

What you bring

  • University degree in a quantitative discipline, Mathematics, Statistics, preferred
  • 2+ years of professional work experience in a data domain
  • Proven ability to program in pertinent languages including SAS and SQL to perform data analysis
  • Experience with data intelligence and visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Appreciation of the importance of data integrity
  • Team player with strong relationship skills and a collaborative spirit
  • Strong written and oral communication skills when presenting analytical results to business stakeholders
  • Genuine curiosity and desire to problem solve
  • Ability to manage multiple work assignments in a constantly changing business environment
  • Call Centre experience and knowledge of telephony systems (an asset)

Employees are expected to work in our Contact Centre office location a minimum of 2 days a week.
