Job summary
This position is responsible for surface mine engineering activities including Scheduling design planning preparation of regulatory applications and development of operational and capital budgets to ensure that production and safety targets are met or exceeded on both a mid and long term basis.- Responsible for Mine Scheduling using scheduling software.
- Responsible for bench blast pattern dump and access road designs.
- Responsible for preparing mining dumping schedules budget preparations the preparation submission of regulatory reports technical modification reports evaluating all potential solutions to planning issues as they arise develop cost effective plans communicating effectively with Mine Operations Geology technical groups Surveyors ensure development implementation mine plan maximizes productivity personnel safety assist Principal Engineer Department Superintendent management Department participating meetings presentations proposals required perform other related duties required.
