Position Description

The McCain Centre is seeking a highly energetic and motivated individual for a full-time, contract (1 year) position as a CH&E Associate.

Reporting to the McCain leadership, the CH&E Associate will support both the knowledge translation and evaluation initiatives of the McCain Centre.

As part of their role, the CH&E Associate will also support the Toronto Adolescent and Youth (TAY) Cohort study, a longitudinal study of young people aged 11-24 seeking mental health care.


The CH&E Associate will be responsible for supporting multiple initiatives, including event planning and coordination, knowledge exchange activities, and training registration and coordination across the portfolio of McCain initiatives and research projects.

This position is primarily located at the Queen Street site.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • planning and development of knowledge exchange activities, such as conferences and special events, organizing project meetings and consultations, organizing the McCain Centre Speaker Series and its evaluation, and collaborating with both CAMH Public Affairs and other CAMH departments;
- supporting the development and updating of the McCain Centre and project specific webpages and marketing of online knowledge base resources;
- supporting preparation and coordination of surveys, graphs, and reports, which will involve collecting and summarizing key performance indicators for projects that fall under the Centre;
- coordination of training registrations and tracking of participants;
- supporting the development of knowledge translation products, including online courses, outcome reports, and plain language summaries;
- creation and distribution of Newsletters and managing associated distribution lists;
- researching and synthesizing literature, and other duties including operational support to the McCain Centre.


Qualifications


You have sound knowledge of equitable environments and will support and implement anti-oppressive and anti-racist best practices in the workplace and with research participants, youth and families.

You have an understanding of systemic barriers and individual experiences in the sector and have the ability to work with stakeholders of diverse identities and ethno-racial and cultural backgrounds.


Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.

Salary Range:
$ $38.98
