- We are hiring team-oriented, motivated temporary employees to join our Parks & Recreation Department for up to 6 months.
- You could be doing landscaping and lawnmowing; maintaining outdoor and indoor facilities; and/or working with trees, parks, and gardens.
- A temporary position at $20.54 per hour for up to 6 months.
- A forty-hour work week (generally ten-hour days) with 3 days off.
- On-the-job training as needed - and the experience to show for it when the job finishes.
- A variety of tasks.
- You come to work every day in all weather, ready to work - and you're willing to work hard.
- You are able to perform a variety of physical tasks.
- You have a valid Class 5 Driver's License and able to drive a 1⁄2 ton truck.
- If you have experience with lawn maintenance equipment, landscaping equipment, sports field maintenance equipment, or maintenance of flower and shrub beds, that would be an asset. If you don't, it is no barrier to applying.
- Working could consist of small work crews or independently.
